Dear Colleagues,
We are delighted to announce that registration for the workshop “Digging into Data: Methods for the Collection and Mining of Various Types of Linguistic Data” is now open! This international workshop will be held at the University of Lausanne (Switzerland) on 5-6 September 2023.
You can register via CUSO (a Swiss doctoral programme in English language and literature) at https://english.cuso.ch/?id=897&tx_displaycontroller[showUid]=6548 (you do not need to be a member of CUSO to register here), or send me an e-mail to [log in to unmask] by August 16th, 2023. The workshop is aimed at doctoral students as well as postgraduate students and everybody else interested, particularly those working with different types of linguistic data within different linguistic fields, e.g. historical (socio)linguistics, psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics, etc.
Call for papers: Doctoral and postgraduate students are also invited to give a 20-minute talk on an aspect of their research, which can range from a fully-fledged paper to a work-in-progress.
We are delighted that our plenary speakers are Merja Kytö (Uppsala), Barbara Köpke (Toulouse), Reinhild Vandenkerckhove (Antwerp), and Pablo Diaz (Lausanne). You can find the abstracts for these talks here: https://drive.switch.ch/index.php/s/Pg2neroOO7fJT07.
