Dear all,
We are looking to recruit a researcher for a project on the intergenerational transmission of mental health at the UCL Division of Psychiatry.
The project will use the Norwegian MoBa study, one of the world’s best genetic epidemiological studies, and the CLS longitudinal birth cohorts. The study is funded by the MRC and NIMH and includes collaborations with David Bann at the CLS and Matt Keller from the Institute of Behavioural Genetics at the University of Boulder Colorado. The project aims to use genomic-structural equation models to understand indirect genetic effects and vertical transmission – the phenotypic influence of parents on children. Molecular genetics offers one of the most compelling sources of causal evidence about these relationships.
Please see the link below for further detail, and do get in touch if you’d like more information. The deadline is the 1st of September 2023.
