We're in the process of renewal of our CAMPUS agreement and the spectre of Windows Server CAL & SCCM for our student labs has come up. I'd be really grateful if a handful of people would reply to me personally, or on list if you prefer, as to what your approach to this has been. We have two resellers telling us different things.
The use cases are
1. Students using domain-joined workstations in open-access labs where the endpoint is managed by SCCM
2. Students accessing IIS based services which do authenticate them from BYOD both on/off the University LAN
We have M365 A5 student-benefit for our student population. I have my own viewpoint on what is needed here but I'll not share it at this point for fear of influencing any responses.
Thanks for any input you can provide
Kenny
