For those of you interested in the live feed from robot sub dives in the deep sea, NOAA Ship Okeanos Explorer begins a series of 10 planned dives around the Aleutian Islands tomorrow (Saturday, 15 Jul). You can watch them in real time at https://oceanexplorer.noaa.gov/livestreams/welcome.html
The first dive (Saturday) will be a series of midwater transects at a site with about 2000 m water depth. The deepest will be near bottom. The dive is scheduled to start at about 0830 ship time (1230 EDT), with the first transect beginning about an hour later. It is scheduled to end about 1730 EDT.
Enjoy, but don't blame me for wasted time,
Mike
