Wrexham Glyndŵr University in North East Wales is looking to appoint an External Examiner for the BSc (Hons) Psychology and MSc Psychology Conversion programmes.
Subject content
Principle duties will include:
• Verifying assessment
• Moderating work
• Attending assessment boards
• Commenting on proposed programme/module enhancements and developments
• To write an annual External Examiner report
•
The appointment will be for a period of 4 years starting with the academic year 2023/2024.
Applicants should have subject expertise in Psychology, and preferably external examiner experience or have completed Advance HE training. The candidate should also be currently teaching in this subject area and have had curriculum design/development experience relating to higher academic level programmes.
External examiners are expected to review the assessment process and moderate work and attend the assessment board once a year usually in June / July.
