Hello all,
The widespread use of drones presents new opportunities to tackle biodiversity loss and democratise conservation research. However, this new technology also risks exacerbating conflicts by threatening privacy and safety.
This special collection from Global Social Challenges Journal brings interdisciplinary perspectives to the potential and pitfalls of aerial monitoring for biodiversity conservation. All of the papers are open access.
Special collection: Drone Ecologies
