Understanding and Using Research Guides
How can a research guide be of use to multiple audiences?
Here at the TfL Corporate Archives we have over 40 research guides available online to the public. But why? In short it's because a good research guide helps the Archives service, helps potential users of the collections, and helps our profile raising.
Join us in this session as we look at how we put our research guides together and why we bother to do it. We'll outline some problems we found with terminology, with accessibility, with scope, and with resource. And of course, we'll give you an idea of what topics they cover and how to actually use them!
