The conference will take place on Wednesday 28 June at Luther King House in Manchester. We look forward to welcoming you to this one-day in-person event. The conference will run from 11am-5pm with lunch and refreshments included. We have a varied and exciting programme for the day. Our speakers are:

Dr Jane Brooks, 'The nursing profession and Jewish women refugees in the UK'
Fr Nicholas Schofield, 'The Papal Zouaves: Victorians who fought for the Pope'
Dr Maggie Scull, 'The Catholic Church, the Northern Ireland 'Troubles', and Paramilitary Funerals'
Dr Penelope Carson, 'Religion and Conflict: East India Company policy & practice'
