Stockholm University is currently recruiting an Assistant Professor (tenure track), within the area of “Carbon biogeochemistry in land-atmosphere systems”. More specifically, we are looking for somebody working on “observation based studies of interactions between the carbon cycle and climate in terrestrial systems with preference for climate zones and processes that are of great importance for understanding of the global greenhouse gas balance”, such as the tropics. The person would work at the SU Department of Environmental Science and can be additionally affiliated with the Bolin Centre for Climate Research. The candidate should be max. 5 years after PhD (with prolongation for sick leave, parental leave etc.), but applicants with older PhDs might be also considered depending on the number of strong applicants <5 years.
