Hello everyone!

OK, we're pretty set to go live with OpenAthens on Tuesday. However, I just want to make sure that I know everything I need to do in Alma. Obviously EBSCO can't help, and my ticket to our consortial support system is still pending :/

So basically I think the steps are 1) Add the proxy IP to Alma in the "IP Definitions" tab in the "libraries" screen of the "General" menu in the config screen and 2) Create a new import profile for OpenAthens and 3) Apply the OpenAthens import profile to the applicable electronic collections and portfolios and remove EZProxy settings for applicable electronic collections and portfolios

However, I have some questions about these steps:

-For step 1: Can we keep the existing IP listed? I think it's just our local range. I don't know if it's a good idea to remove it, thus I'd love to just add the OA proxy IP and not delete the other IP.
-For step 2: Are the correct directions for this here? They don't seem quite right because it's about "Configuring the OpenAthens Redirector." https://tinyurl.com/4wua4s5w
-For step 3: We have at least one major resource (The Economist) which simply isn't working with us to enable OpenAthens on their end and it probably won't happen in time for launch. We'd like to keep it on EZProxy to buy us some time (we have EZProxy until August). Thankfully it's in a collection with it as the only portfolio and it's already set to EZProxy. So would not changing any of the settings for the collection allow it to continue to work with EZProxy?
-General question: will the parser parameters/linking syntax for portfolios need to change when we update to OA? I doubt it but I thought I'd ask just in case.

THANK YOU in advance for any help! I'm still surprised there isn't any official support for this from OpenAthens/EBSCO.
