We are excited to invite colleagues to the next in a series of events as part of the ESRC Digital Footprints: Strategic Advice Team project.
This event is an opportunity for researchers in the Digital Footprints space to meet the ESRC Digital Footprints programme team. The team will facilitate a Q&A about the Digital Footprints programme, as well as highlighting upcoming calls for funding, and discussing what makes a successful application to the programme. The Digital Footprints programme is an estimated £59.3 million investment in new research infrastructure for social sciences that will run between 2022 and 2029. We invite colleagues who have experience in thinking about research infrastructure for working with Digital Footprints Data. Such data may range from consumer transactions to social media posts, from GIS mobility data to health data - any data traces we leave in our everyday interactions.
This will be a great opportunity to hear directly from the team and put forward any questions you might have about the programme.
Speakers include: Joe Cuddeford (Director of Digital Footprints, ESRC UKRI); Bruce Jackson (Head of Workstreams and Operations, ESRC UKRI); Deborah Kroll (Head of Strategy and Partnerships, ESRC UKRI); Matthew Croston (Senior Policy Manager, ESRC UKRI); Rachel Franklin (Programme Lead, Newcastle University); Simeon Yates (Programme Lead, University of Liverpool)

The workshop will be a facilitated online event held on the 27th June at 13:00. The outcomes will be used to guide ESRC as they develop the Digital Footprints programme and funding calls.
