Dear colleagues,
I hope this finds you well?
Sorry for x-posting
I’m writing to invite you all warmly to an event that will take place in-person at the University of Southampton (Room 8013, Centenary Building (100)) and remotely via MS Teams on Monday 3 July 3-4.30pm BST (UTC +1).
During this session, you are invited to discuss two texts for a reading group session to be chaired by Dr Nazry Bahrawi (University of Washington, https://asian.washington.edu/people/nazry-bahrawi) on the topic of ‘Critiques of decoloniality’, see more details about the event, the readings and the registration pages via Eventbrite on our website here: https://readingdecoloniality.warwick.ac.uk/home/joinreadinggroup/.
This session is part of the new version of the Reading Decoloniality Working Group that relaunched as a reading and publication programme in June 2023 (see launch event details here: https://readingdecoloniality.warwick.ac.uk/sanjay-sharmas-multicultural-encounters/)
Please feel free to email any queries at all and to share the event with any interested colleagues and friends as everyone is warmly welcome.
Have a lovely day and weekend.
All the best,
Giulia Champion
