Dear All (with apologies for cross-posting),
I am one of the Joint Editors of ARC Magazine and I'm editing the upcoming September/October 2023 issue. I'm gathering content for the following sections:
* ARA News: news from across the ARA eg board appointments, industry partnerships, new/changes to legislation, conference news, apprenticeships, updates from regions/sectors/group eg successful events, social media campaigns, best practice (suggested word count: 100 – 250 words, plus image(s))
* Industry news: including funding opportunities, job climate, industry events/online resources, legislation, workforce-relevant news, surveys results/feedback, other relevant news to the wider sector (suggested word count: 100 – 250 words, plus image(s))
*Community: feel-good news and success stories from across the membership and wider sector (suggested word count: 100 – 250 words, plus image(s))
If you're interested in submitting a feature (rather than a news item) please send us an outline of your proposed article. As a general guide, features are in-depth thought leadership pieces about issues affecting the sector. If you have ideas for a feature then please get in touch with a brief outline of your idea and we will respond to you asap. Please note we advise against submitting features until an idea has been agreed with the ARC editorial team.
To contribute to the magazine, please send your content ideas to [log in to unmask] Please indicate in the subject of your email which section you would like to contribute to: ARA News, Industry News, Community or Features. Contributions should be accompanied by images and you will need to complete a copyright acknowledgement form and disclaimer for photographs form which we will send you once we have approved your piece.
The deadline to submit content for the September/October edition is 19 July.
We are very much looking forward to working with you and welcome any ideas you have for ARC Magazine.
All the best,
Michael Gallagher
