The next event as part of the ESRC Digital Footprints: Strategic Advice Team programme:

We are excited to invite colleagues to the next in a series of events as part of the ESRC Digital Footprints: Strategic Advice Team project.

This event is an opportunity for researchers in the Digital Footprints space to meet the ESRC Digital Footprints programme team. The team will facilitate a Q&A about the Digital Footprints programme, as well as highlighting upcoming calls for funding, and discussing what makes a successful application to the programme. The Digital Footprints programme is an estimated £59.3 million investment in new research infrastructure for social sciences that will run between 2022 and 2029.  We invite colleagues who have experience in researching, using and/or insights into working with digital footprints data. Such data may range from consumer transactions to social media posts, to GIS mobility data - any data traces we leave in our everyday interactions.

This is a great opportunity to hear directly from the team and put forward any questions you may have about the programme. 

Speakers include: Joe Cuddeford (Director of Digital Footprints, ESRC UKRI); Bruce Jackson (Head of Workstreams and Operations, ESRC UKRI); Deborah Kroll (Head of Strategy and Partnerships, ESRC UKRI); Matthew Croston (Senior Policy Manager, ESRC UKRI); Rachel Franklin (Programme Lead, Newcastle University); Simeon Yates (Programme Lead, University of Liverpool)

The workshop will be a facilitated online event held on the 18th July at 12:00. The outcomes will be used to guide ESRC as they develop the Digital Footprints programme and funding calls.
