Hi,
We are reviewing our processes on late requests to suspend study, this has come up in reviewing dates we add to the systems for data futures work and general good practice.
For standard undergraduate programmes our teaching ends at the end of May, we have students wishing to change programme from September and repeat level 4, often a student will complete the assessments from the programme they are wishing to change from, but we occasionally get students who do not want to complete the assessments and suspend their final weeks and resume in September on the new programme. This has financial implications on their finances with them being pro-rated until August. If we do not suspend and they continue but do not submit assessments they could be in danger of being terminated.
Anyone want to share what they do with very late suspensions coming in around the end of teaching?
Best wishes
