Dear Colleagues,
If you are young scientists and are interested in remote sensing applications in Earth Sciences, we are pleased to invite you to submit your abstract to our session BG4: Satellite- and airborne-based observations of Earth surface processes. The session will be held at BeGeo2023 - The 2nd Conference of Young Geoscientists, in Naples (Italy) from 3 to 6 October 2023.
The BeGeo2023 conference is an amazing opportunity for students and early carrier scientists to share their most recent scientific findings in Earth Science and meet colleagues from Italy and other countries. The title of this upcoming edition “Sustainability and Risks: BeGeoScientists on the road to the future”.
Our session BG4 seeks contributions that showcase the innovative use of remote sensing techniques and datasets for the study of geological and human-induced processes, such as:
Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR)
Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS)
SAR polarimetry
Multi- and hyper-spectral sensors on satellite and airborne systems (e.g., Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, UAV)
Digital Elevation Models (DEMs)
And more
The abstract submission deadline is the 1 June 2023 at 12:00 CET
Additional information on the session and abstract submission form can be found at: https://www.begeos.it/sessions/
We look forward to meet you in the beautiful Naples!
All the best,
the conveners:
Alessandro La Rosa (University of Pisa)
Cynthia V. Sassenroth (University of Pisa)
Marco Luppichini (University of Pisa)
Diana Orlandi (University of Pisa)
