Hi Vasileios,
The principle is relatively simple:
- Register the SPECT images to the (structural) MRI using SPM Coreg. You may need to experiment with various cost functions.
- Subtract interictal from ictal SPECT
- Threshold and overlay
I have successfully used this approach in https://doi.org/10.1016/j.yebeh.2008.08.017.
Kind regards,
Tibor

Subject: [SPM] SISCOM procedure
To all SPM12 experts,
I have been looking for instructions on how to do implement SISCOM (ictal vs interictal SPECT) in SPM12, but haven't found any related information in past email threads or in the SPM12 manual. I would appreciate it if someone could either provide me with a step-by-step outline or point me to a relevant online resource.
Thank you in advance,
