Hello,
Arrangements for the 10th European Conference on Social Media (ECSM 2023), hosted by the Pedagogical University of Krakow, Poland on 18-19 May are now well underway and we are looking forward to another successful conference.
If you were unable to submit a paper in time for the conference, there is still time to register as a non-presenting participant. ECSM is a great opportunity for networking with an international group and there are a number of interesting papers and posters being presented during the conference. Registration to attend the conference as a non-presenting participant is open and costs £90 to attend virtually and £370 to attend in person. More details here: https://www.academic-conferences.org/conferences/ecsm/ecsm-registration/
Benefits of attending include:
access to a wide range of live presentations on Social Media Research
keynote presentations by:
Magdalena Urbaniak on the subject of: Brain Unconsciously Driven by Social Media. Is it bad or good and what can we do about it?
Dr Katarzyna Bąkowicz, speaking about Disinformation is Everywhere. Why Should we Change our Perspective on this Phenomenon?
Networking sessions with international experts in the field
an electronic version of the Conference Proceedings
Select conference sessions will be recorded and participants will have access to these after the event
ECSM 2023 will be a physical event with virtual elements built in to create an experience for both those who can attend in person and those able to attend online.
An updated programme can be seen here: https://www.academic-conferences.org/conferences/ecsm/ecsm-programme/
There are still places available on the online workshop on Wednesday 17th May 2023 before the 10th European Conference on Social Media (ECSM 2023).
