Dear colleagues,
With apologies for cross-posting.
We are excited to invite colleagues to the next in a set of workshops as part of the ESRC Digital Footprints: Strategic Advice Team project, entitled DIGITAL FOOTPRINTS: LEARNING FROM INTERNATIONAL BEST PRACTICE.
The workshop will allow the ESRC research community to discuss what we can learn from international best practice in relation to infrastructure for the ESRC Digital Footprints programme. This programme is an estimated £59.3 million investment in new research infrastructure for social sciences that will run between 2022 and 2029. We invite colleagues who have insights into digital footprints data and international best practice. Such data may range from consumer transactions to social media posts, from GIS mobility data to health data - any data traces we leave in our everyday interactions. Later workshops will address issues of infrastructure, methodology, ethics and collaboration. Please find registration details here:

The workshop will be a facilitated online event held on the 18th May 2023 at 13:00. The outcomes will be used to guide ESRC as they develop the Digital Footprints programme and funding calls.
