Robert Gordon University School of Applied Social Studies community seminar series: Tuesday 18th April (18:00-19:30)
Education in Emergencies (EiE) has been receiving growing attention since the 1990s. However, many children and young people in conflict-affected situations are still out-of-school. This seminar looks at second chance education as a potential to overcome such lost education based on research in Rwanda. Using life story interviews, the research findings reveal some pathways for a second chance education and how learners make sense of their education journeys.
