Dear all,
We are looking for MA/MSc dissertation supervisors on a range of topics in digital humanities, media studies, and digital culture and economy. A PhD awarded in a relevant area and the right to work in the UK are required. Experience in teaching and supervision is desirable.
While some students might prefer online sessions, students must be offered supervision in person at the Strand in London. The dissertation supervision starts in April and runs until the end of June. Dissertations are then marked in September.
The payment is £22 an hour, with 2 hours of paid prep time per 1 hour of contact time. The workload includes:
* 2h of training/induction per supervisor;
* 12 hours for supervision per dissertation (4 hours contact time and 8h preparation time);
* 4 hours per dissertation marked as first marker and 2 hours per dissertation marked as second marker.
If you are interested, please contact Dr Andrea Ballatore at [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> enclosing a short CV and a 150-word statement about your qualifications and experience.
Best wishes,
Andrea
