Addressing Mental Health and Disability Equality in the Creative Industries (AMH23)
Conference and special edition of the Journal for Media Practice in Education
Final Call for Papers
AMH23 is a media, film, and creative arts conference organised by MeCCSA’s Disability Network and the Practice Network in conjunction with the Journal for Media Practice in Education and Evolution Film which is funded by the British Academy. Our purpose is to examine the current and future role of mental health and disability equality across the global creative sector.
The conference welcomes submissions that break new boundaries in terms of format and presentation styles, and those which promote accessibility for our audience. We welcome expressions of interest from academics, professionals within industry, recruiters, steering groups, charities, and professional statutory and regulatory bodies (PSRBs). There will be opportunities for publication for any relevant submissions via a special edition of the Journal for Media Practice in Education, anticipated for publication in 2025.
