Learning on Screen announced today that Kerry-Jane Packman has been appointed as the new CEO of the charity. An experienced leader in the charity sector, Kerry-Jane will succeed Virginia Haworth-Galt and assume responsibilities on 3rd April 2023.
She has more than 20 years’ experience working for charity-based organisations, healthcare services and education organisations, managing the operations, marketing and finances of humanitarian campaigns, boosting fundraising through strategic planning and establishing successful new membership models. Previously, she worked as the Executive Director of Parentkind, an education-focused organisation that supports parents’ roles in children’s education and is the largest membership organisation of the PTAs.
John Ellis, Chair of Learning on Screen, said “I am thrilled to welcome Kerry-Jane Packman as the new CEO of Learning on Screen. As a highly experienced leader in the educational charity sector, Kerry-Jane brings a wealth of expertise and a track record of success to our organisation. We look forward to working with her to meet the challenges of providing innovative and engaging content to support teaching, learning, and research."
Kerry-Jane said “I’m very excited to be joining such a unique and diverse organisation, particularly during Learning on Screen’s 75th anniversary, and I’d like to thank Virginia Haworth-Galt for doing such a fantastic job leading the organisation for the past 9 years. In the next few months, I will be taking time to get to know the staff and membership and setting a new strategy.”
