CORRECTION TO TIME AND DATE
An irregular social get-together over a glass of whatever floats your boat. An informal meander around a topic of interest, hosted and proposed by different network members.
For this meeting, we will be exploring plans for a 2024 joint Practice Network & Journal of Media Practice & Education symposium. Aiming to work towards an open call to institutions to host the event. We want to initiate a collective discussion around how best to do this, how we develop a topic idea and quite what is the best format for a symposium post-pandemic. This will include a discussion on how to manage and deliver a symposium special issue for the Journal of Media Practice & Education.
If you are interested in proposing your institution, want to have a say, or just want to be part of the debate put the date in your diary.
CHANGE OF DATE: THURSDAY 30th March 5 pm-6.30 pm via Zoom.
At the meetup, we can also discuss other matters such as: is the right time or format for regular meetups, who wants to propose and host a topic, and what’s the best wine to sip when thinking hard about complex academic issues.
