Dear all,
I am in the early stages of planning a colloquium bringing together drawing scholars (and other Creative Practitioners) working on the broad theme of memory in post-traumatic contexts. The term 'post-traumatic' can be treated in multiple ways; from the legacy of memory and its treatment in conflict zones, through to memorialisation practices during Covid-19. I am keeping this broad for now as I am keen to hear from others working in this area and what subjects people are engaged with.
I would like to organise a preliminary meeting with anyone interested in collaborating on this event - and very keen to hear from colleagues outside the UK. The intention is for an edited book proposal to be made following the colloquium.
If any of this sounds interesting to you, please don't hesitate to email me at: [log in to unmask]
I look forward to hearing from you.
James
