Dear Hamzah,
to be honest, I don't quite understand your question. If you are using fmriprep, there are tools in the pipeline to estimate TIV using the implemented tools (i.e. FSL). The normalised images have been altered in brain size and therefore the TIV can't be estimated reliably (only if you have modulated normalised segmentations).
