This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative and experienced learning technologist to join a highly-regarded team, supporting our strategic vision for digital learning across all schools at the University.
Working primarily to support colleagues in our School of Art & Media, you will provide pedagogical and technical advice, deliver face-to-face and remote workshops and create guidance materials for both academic and professional support staff. You will also contribute to the management and optimisation of our suite of services and systems to support digital learning. Working alongside our Learning & Teaching Hub to develop and encourage best practice, you will help to set standards and act as an expert consultant for teaching staff wishing to further develop their digital pedagogies.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
-A degree, equivalent professional qualification or substantial experience of supporting, learning & teaching at HE level and the application of technologies to support the curriculum.
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience of supporting digital learning technologies, including virtual learning environments
- A good understanding of accessible practice
- A track record of successfully supporting innovation
