JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Cognitive Neuroscience of Addiction Laboratory in the Department of Biobehavioral Health and the Center for Safe and Healthy Children is seeking a full-time Data Management Specialist to work on multiple neuroimaging research studies.
The ideal candidate will have experience with the major neuroimaging software packages (FSL, Freesurfer, AFNI, SPM), Python, Matlab, and R. In addition, the candidate should have experience with shell scripting and the UNIX/LINUX environment, familiarity with neuroanatomy and neurophysiology, and familiarity working within a high-performance computing environment is ideal. The primary duties of this position will be to conduct analyses for several neuroimaging datasets, setup tracking logs for analysis, and assist with the implementation of new analysis approaches. Applicants should possess very strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and good communication skills. Strong applicants will be independently motivated, have excellent time management skills, and work well in a team environment.
Education and Experience:
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher, plus 4 years of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A degree in cognitive neuroscience, psychology, computer science, engineering or a related field is preferred.

Additional Information:
This is a limited-term appointment funded for one year from the date of hire with the excellent possibility of re-funding.
This position has the potential to be performed fully remote or as a hybrid of remote and on-site work.
