Hi ENVHUM members,
Hope you are well and Happy New Year.
I just wanted to send over a link to a publically available film called "Not a Hero's Journey" that was released on the 1st of January. The film follows a community of "cyclist activists" who cycled over 500 miles to COP26 to try and raise community voice and to demonstrate the joy and hope that can come with collective action. The ride was organised by 16-year-old Jessie Stevens who co-produced the film alongside Catherine Dunn.
The film won best environment film at the Kendal International Film Festival (The Oscars of adventure film) a couple of months ago and could serve as an interesting resource for anyone involved / interested in climate education, activism, and so on.
Here's the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9DDw3pwO8yU
Any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Kind regards,
Jack Reed
