CALL FOR FULL PAPERS SCIENTIFIC TRACK (coined HCI, German: MCI)
SUBMISSION DEADLINE for full papers: April 4, 2023
For the scientific track, we invite researchers to submit full (long) papers, short papers, demos, tutorials, workshops, and contributions to the PhD seminar.
Scientific full papers will be published in the ACM Digital Library and will each be assigned its own Digital Object Identifier (DOI). All accepted contributions will also be published via the Digital Library of the Gesellschaft für Informatik e.V. (http://dl.mensch-und-computer.de) HCI branch, as open access publications.
Full papers are expected to make a novel scientific contribution with concrete research results. There is no page limit, but the page length must consummate with the contribution. The review process is double-blind - papers are submitted anonymously and are peer-reviewed (min. 3 reviews). Authors of accepted full papers are expected to orally present their work at the conference. Full papers with an exceptional scientific contribution will be acknowledged with an award.

* HCI applications (among others: IoT/industry 4.0, interaction with embedded systems, smart home, ambient assisted living (AAL), automotive user interfaces and mobility, CSCW and social computing, digital humanities and UX, entertainment computing, AR/VR, gamification and serious games, usable security, health and wellbeing).
* Interaction techniques (among others: tangible interaction, haptics, touch and gestures, MRI, multimodal interaction, mobile and ubiquitous interaction, eye tracking/gaze Interaction, brain-computer interfaces (BCI), assistive technologies).
* Methodological aspects and modeling (among others: agile methods, adaptivity and user modeling, user requirements for UX, user experience design (UXD), prototyping and interaction modeling, crisis-proof user studies).
* Reflection and perspectives: Individual and Society (among others: affect, aesthetics and emotion, gender and diversity in design, inclusion, refugee informatics economic perspectives in UX, fairness, ethics, universal design, usage studies in times of contact constraints).
