The Independent Office for Police Conduct is advertising for a Digital Preservation Officer. This is a full-time role, fixed term until December 2023, with a salary of £24,605. The successful candidate can be based at any IOPC location (Warrington, Croydon, Canary Wharf, Wakefield, Sale, Birmingham, Cardiff), with home- and hybrid-working options.
The role is particularly focused on a shared drives audit project, which involves reviewing the content of team shared drives and making recommendations for disposal and preservation, in advance of a migration. The post is part of a small team within the larger Corporate Records Management team, working with one other Digital Preservation Officer.
The deadline for applications is Sunday 22 January. Full details of the role and how to apply can be found at https://jobsearch.policeconduct.gov.uk/jobs/job/Digital-Preservation-Officer/132
