How can we turn innovations into better healthcare?
As we move towards a future with high demands on health care systems, our interdisciplinary and applied MSc in Translational Health Sciences addresses the challenges of implementing innovations in health care head-on by turning the theory of translational science into effective actions.
This course can be studied part-time over 2-4 years or full-time over 12 months – giving students the flexibility to retain full-time employment and other commitments, whilst studying in our thriving, research-active department.

Friday 20 January 2023 (final application deadline for full-time study in 2023-24 and most Oxford scholarships)
Wednesday 1 March 2023 (for part-time study in 2023-24)
Who is this master's programme aimed at?
This course is suitable for anyone interested in studying scientific and technological innovation in a healthcare setting, seeking to improve patient care through innovation – such as researchers, research managers, policy makers, doctors, physicians, and industry-related entrepreneurs.

Trish is a Professor of Primary Care Health Sciences and an internationally recognised academic and trained GP. Trish’s research seeks to celebrate and retain the traditional and humanistic aspects of medicine while also embracing the exceptional opportunities of contemporary science and technology to improve health outcomes and relieve suffering.
