Hello all,

We are seeking papers for a special of Critical and Radical Social Work: Climate Justice, Food Insecurity, and Social Work.
Guest edited by Ana Rojas Acosta, Federal University of Sao Paulo, Brazil and Wendy Coxshall, Liverpool Hope University, UK

Abstract submission deadline: 15 March 2023

This issue asks: How has the international social work profession responded to the growing global challenges of 'food insecurity' and climate (in)justice in the 21st century? We are looking for submissions exploring how the international social work profession can understand, theorise and respond to these challenges to advance 'food security', equality, human rights, social justice and climate justice as a global profession.

Scholars from around the world are invited to prepare papers based on research or academic reflections on empirical research and practical experiences of the intersections between climate justice, 'food insecurity' and social work. Authors can address topics related to:
•	Government and public policies
•	Effects and responses to social and welfare policies
•	Responses by 'vulnerable' families and marginalised and excluded social groups (children and young people; older people; disabled people; members of the LGBTQ+ community and the global majority).

Authors wishing to publish an article in the Special Issue should submit an extended abstract (500 words) indicating the title and authors of their proposed article. This abstract should set out their topic and methods and describe the article's argument, hypothesis or thesis. Draft articles already in preparation may also be submitted at this stage.

Extended abstracts (500 words) or draft articles (maximum 8,000 words) should be sent to [log in to unmask] by 15 March 2023.
