Hi
Are you keen to gain experience in journal editing?
We at the The Media Education Research Journal<https://microsites.bournemouth.ac.uk/merj/> (MERJ) are looking for an Assistant Editor (or two) to join our team
The role will involve all aspects of editing/managing a peer-reviewed scholarly journal, including the review process, liaising with authors, proof-reading, copyediting and typesetting (knowledge of InDesign is desirable, but not essential).
If you aren't familiar with MERJ<https://microsites.bournemouth.ac.uk/merj/about-merj/>, it acts as a forum for the exchange of academic research and discussion into media education and pedagogy - with contributions from academics, practitioners and teachers situated in all sectors and contexts for media education
MERJ is twice-yearly, peer-reviewed, fully open-access with no Article Processing Charges and has an excellent reputation in the Media Education field (being first established in 2010)
You would be working with me, the Editor, and Dr Mark Readman, our Editor-in-Chief
If you are interested in informally discussing this opportunity, please do reach out to us for a conversation
All the best
Ashley
