Dear colleagues,
In the past years, advances of analytical techniques have enhanced our understanding of the geochemical behavior of carbonate minerals. They are now widely used as geoarchives in various geological approaches.
In our session "Carbonate geochronology, trace element and stable isotope geochemistry — applications and advances", we want to provide an interdisciplinary session to present and discuss diverse aspects on the further development of analytical techniques and the increasing number of applications. Therefor, we welcome both scientists having a methodological and an applied focus.
EGU 2023 will be held in Vienna from April 23rd—28th, abstract submission deadline is the 10th of January. If you consider applying for a travel support, please submit your abstract until the 1st of December (https://egu23.eu/guidelines/supports_and_waivers.html).
For a full session description, see: https://meetingorganizer.copernicus.org/EGU23/session/45180
We hope to see you in Vienna!
Best regards,
Johannes, Aileen, Philip, Goran, and Renjie
