Dear Professors,
Sorry to bother your busy work. I would like to invite you to join in a survey about ways of improving group discussions in UK higher education.
Here is a detailed description of the survey:
Participants Wanted for Research Study: Exploring Lecturers’ Views of Classroom Discussion.
Small group discussion is a popular teaching approach in many subjects in UK universities. But colleagues tell us that some of their students find it difficult. Our research aims to design solutions that might help overcome reticence in group discussions, and your views are valuable to us.
We want to invite you to complete an online survey about your experience of teaching in this way and whether different ways of communicating through technology might help.
Who can participate?
Anyone with teaching responsibilities in a UK university
What do you need to do?
