The Motivation and Social Neuroscience lab (www.MSN-lab.com), led by Dr. Matthew Apps, is looking for an enthusiastic postdoc with neuroimaging (fMRI or MEG) experience to examine the computational and neural mechanisms of motivation and decision-making.
The lab uses novel tasks, computational modeling, fMRI, psychopharmacology and tests in healthy populations, from childhood through to older adults, and in neurological and psychiatric conditions. The post will have the opportunity to work with cutting edge techniques (e.g. spinal fMRI / OPM-MEG) to examine novel questions about motivated behaviour in the brand new, £25m Centre for Human Brain Health, at the University of Birmingham, UK.
