Hi all,

We have noted that there are been a change to the cohort completion indictor calculation which affects the value for PGR students: 

From page 142 in 'Consultation on constructing student outcome and experience indicators Analysis of responses and decisions' (officeforstudents.org.uk):

'We have decided to make a small change to the approach described at consultation in relation to our cohort-tracking algorithms, to allow for additional benefit of the doubt in respect of awards made to postgraduate research students.'

Looking at the values of ipcondindfull_yn, there are two new entries in our dataset: PENDING and QUALIFIED_PGRDORM. 

Following the rules for rebuilding the datasets from the individualised data, do others agree that the numerator has changed from (using Full-Time as an example):

ipconindfull_y4 = {'QUALIFIED', 'CONTINUING', 'TRANSFER_COLLAB'}

to:

ipconindfull_y4 = {'QUALIFIED', 'QUALIFIED_PGRDORM', 'CONTINUING', 'TRANSFER_COLLAB'}

Also, does anyone know what 'PENDING' means and how it may affect any of the other indicator calculations?
