Dear all,
I write wearing my hat as Chair of the CTPN HAPSS Sub-Group (Counter-Terrorism Preparedness Network, Humanitarian Assistance & Psychosocial Support Sub-Group) - https://www.london.gov.uk/what-we-do/fire-and-resilience/counter-terrorism-preparedness-network-ctpn/what-we-do
We are helping promote awareness and membership of the Christchurch Call - a community of over 120 governments, online service providers, and civil society organisations acting together to eliminate terrorist and violent extremist content online. The Call arose out of the terror attack on two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand in March 2019 which was livestreamed by the terrorist for 17 minutes and was viewed over 4,000 times before being removed.
The Christchurch Call Advisory Network (https://www.christchurchcall.com/our-community/christchurch-call-advisory-network/) is looking to increase representation from civil society organisations in Africa, the Middle East, Asia and Latin America. If you or your organisation has connections and/or presence in these areas, we'd really appreciate your help.
If you can help please contact me direct ([log in to unmask]) and/or you can contact them direct: [log in to unmask]
Thank you for sharing this request and for spreading the word about this important initiative,
Anne
