Hi

Identity Advisors is an NDA Microsoft Yammer group, we were invited some time ago when we started doing SAML against Azure in the early days. The URL is this: https://www.yammer.com/cepartners I know we had to fill out some NDA paperwork.

The survey isn't informal by any means, it's feeding into MS direction (I hope).

Interesting to see the the Azure to LDAP connector (and also the SQL one). The difficulty for us would be the attribute richness and security. We provision quite a few attributes onto LDAP schema extensions on the LDAP servers some of which we wouldn't want to be publicly available in AD or Azure.

Cheers
Andy

I couldn't find anything on "Identity Advisor" other than Norton. Is the survey just an informal thing? Who/what is "Identity Advisor"?

Is the Reading conference round-table discussion going ahead? Will Microsoft be there to provide answers?

I see there's now a back channel from Azure AD to AD LDS via LDAP which looks interesting, still in development I think:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-gb/azure/active-directory/app-provisioning/on-premises-ldap-connector-configure

Our on prem-AD requirements are pretty basic now as most of the stuff is provisioned direct to AAD so the above looks like an interesting exit door from MIM if we can provision users direct to AAD.

cheers,

Alistair

Hi,

I've just got this email in from "Identity Advisor", and confirmation that the link can be shared outside of that :

Hi Identity Advisors,
Are you wondering what's next for MIM? Please fill out the survey to share your current production MIM use cases and scenarios to help us prioritize our transition from MIM to Azure AD.
This survey will take approximately 5 minutes to complete, and your input is greatly appreciated!
