Hi, I have two follow up questions to this post:
1. Is it wrong to first convert the values of the covariate (i.e. age) to z-scores, and then demean those values? Long time ago I was recommended to do that but now I don’t know if that’s the right thing to do. How does it affect the model to first convert the values to z-scores?
2. The -D flag, should it be ONLY used when NOT including the column of ones (the constant EV) or can it be used always, even when the constant EV is included in the model?
Thanks!
