I'm certain that this has been answered ad nauseum but I'm just failing to find the right search parameters to answer the question in my head. I understand that, in running TFCE, I cannot use an F-test approach. If I have a 2x3 cell means design (set up as on https://fsl.fmrib.ox.ac.uk/fsl/fslwiki/GLM#ANOVA:_2-factors_2-_.26_3-levels_.282x3_between-subjects_ANOVA.29), does this mean that for the interaction terms, I need 4 rather than 2 contrasts?
On the example there the following contrasts set up as an F-test:
[1 0 -1 -1 0 1]
[0 1 -1 0 -1 1]
If I'm using TFCE, does this mean that I instead need:
[1 0 -1 -1 0 1]
[-1 0 1 1 0 -1] (tests the opposite direction)
[0 1 -1 0 -1 1]
[0 -1 1 0 1 -1] (tests the opposite direction)
