Hi, I’m having some issues with the install on Rhel 7.
I’m following the install Instructions from URL https://fsl.fmrib.ox.ac.uk/fsl/fslwiki/FslInstallation/Manual
1) untar fsl-6.0.5.2-centos7_64.tar.gz
2) export FSLDIR=/myinstalldir
3) $FSLDIR/etc/fslconf/post_install.sh -f $FSLDIR
I get
Stage 1
…
100%
Stage 2
100%
----- ERROR -----
Failed to create FSL Python environment - see /mytmpspace/fslpython2UJ5/fslpython_miniconda_installer.log for details
Now I dug around a bit and changed the install scripts to allow me more manual control of the Stage 2 process. I went in and did the conda installs by hand and found a way around the conda install issue with fsleyes. I then ran the rest of the script to finish off the install by placing the sim links in fsl/bin. The issue I am now having is that there are many libraries that are not in fsl/bin but ate in fsl/fslpython/bin but when they are called they are called from $FSLDIR/bin and of course “file not found”. I placed fslpython/bin in the PATH to no avail. Is there a python library environment variable that needs to be set?
I have been soft linking the “file not found” error functions whenever they pop up and that seems to work but I need the software to work without the inevitable errors.
Is there a better way than soft linking every file in fslpython?
Did something go awry on the install?
Any help for any of my many questions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Franz
