Hi all,
Looking for some help with a tricky issue that has come up for me several times. With regards to PDFs created from scanned documents, we now have a workflow where we can scan documents straight to PDF and tag them in Adobe Acrobat.
However, sometimes the OCR text is wrong. The incorrect text will display withthin the paragraph tags in the Tags pane, but you can't edit the OCR there. Instead, you can go to the Correct Recognized Text tool, but this only gives the option to correct errors that Adobe itself has recognised.
I've seen others use OCR software which can be used to easily correct errors. Could anyone recommend software to me? Or recommend a method for correcting OCR in Adobe Acrobat?
Thank you,
Rebecca
