Hi Doug,
Thanks very much for your helpful reply. I want to confirm that I understand what you've shared:
- based on the information I shared, concatenating the 8 runs/5 conditions of Experiment 1 into a "session 1" and the identically-structured 8 runs/5 conditions of Experiment 2 into a "session 2" would make sense --> and this is done during the 1st level fMRI specification
- I should add a regressor for each session to specify Experiment 1 vs. Experiment 2
- the two experiments come from the same subjects; therefore, this 2-session concatenation approach (summarized above) may make more sense than concatenating all runs of both experiments into a single session
Could you let me know if this looks OK to you, or if I've misunderstood anything?
Thanks again for your help.
Best,
Phil
