Hi Debora,
Thank you for your response - this guide is very helpful. I understand it takes the approach of putting all runs from Experiment 1 and 2 into one large session.
I am wondering: are there any other options for concatenation that might have different pros/cons in my case?
For example - would the following specification have any benefit over the "one large session" approach?
1. Session 1 = Experiment 1
- 5 conditions
2. Session 2 = Experiment 2
- 5 conditions
Or, do you (or anybody else) know if there is an option to concatenate at the group analysis level, once contrasts have been run at the 1st level? For example, concatenating these two:
a. 1st level contrast: condition 1 vs. baseline (Experiment 1)
b. 1st level contrast: condition 1 vs. baseline (Experiment 2)
Thanks again for your help.
Best,
Phil
