Dear SPM M/EEG experts,
I am processing our MEG data collected by the ctf275 system. I noticed that the channel locations (Cartesian coordinates) in the imported raw MEG data are different across subjects. Hence their 2D projections are also different. May I ask if this situation is common. I guess this channel location problem may also be the reason of some weird head models like the attached figure. Although I could exclude this extreme case from the group analysis, inconsistent channel locations may cause inappropriate head models which would influence the following source reconstruction and DCM. So my question is how to deal with this channel location problem and how to do quality control on head model inversion in M/EEG analysis? Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Best,
Li Zhi
