Last November and event sponsored by the SPA and Vanderbilt LGBTQ+ Policy Lab brought together a series of papers from academics exploring a range of LGBTQ+ issues related to welfare and wellbeing from across the Social Sciences. Over the last few months work behind the scenes has now established a new international network launcing a monthly seminar series from September to facilitate presentations into LGBTQ+ focused research.
Queer Populations and Policies (QPaP) Network launched its website yesterday which you can find here: https://sites.google.com/view/qpapnetwork/home
We will soon be launching a monthly, virtual seminar series with presentations from across the social sciences exploring research into LGBTQ+ people and the policies that impact upon their lives.
If you would like to sign up to keep up to date with everything we are doing you can do so via the webform, on our website and by following our Twitter @QPaPNetwork. Additionally if you would like to present as part of our seminar series we have a second webform on the website you can complete.
We hope to see you at QPaP events which will be launching in September 2022.
Regards
Lee Gregory (University of Nottingham, School of Sociology and Social Policy) and Sam Mann (Vanderbilt University, LGBTQ+ Policy Lab)
