Dear Mailbase,
First-time mailbase question here!
We are currently reviewing our POCT ACT (Activated clotting time) service with a view for bringing in some newer devices. I am under the impression there are no EQA schemes available for ACT meters and wanted to know if anyone had any experience with verifications of these meters - particularly the Hemochron Signature Elite.
Is there a way to do concordance studies or is it predominantly precision/accuracy studies that are done for these meters?
Many thanks,
Johnathan
