This is an email with news about scholarships and recent developments for Postgraduate Taught programmes in Music at Royal Holloway, University of London. Please pass this along to any interested students or relevant parties.
We have two main pathways for our Postgraduate Taught courses:
1) Masters of Music (MMus) in Advanced Musical Studies, with four available pathways for specialism:
* Composition
* Ethnomusicology
* Performance
* Musicology
2) Postgraduate Diploma (PG Dip) in Music Performance
Headley Trust Scholarships
We are delighted to announce two new scholarships for Music postgraduate students, provided by the Headley Trust. These scholarships are available to new full-time students from the UK studying on our MMus course. Each scholarship is a £10,000 award, which is a full fee reduction, with remaining balance to be used for living costs.

The deadline to apply for our Headley Trust Scholarships is 11 August 2022.

New modules and pathway
We have recently announced new modules and a new pathway for our MMus course. Developed and led by our Director of Performance, Dr Mary Dullea, our new 'Collaborative Piano' pathway within our MMus Performance specialism, will be ideal for any student interested in collaborative performing. For this, we will be launching two new modules in 2022/23 academic year:
1) "The Vocal Coach: Répétiteur and Rehearsal Pianist" :

Our Postgraduate Taught courses
Both our MMus and PG Dip courses are delivered by world-leading experts in their fields, set within our leafy Egham campus, with some teaching also delivered in our central London facilities. Our Postgraduate Taught students are a tight-knit community, and postgraduate study at Royal Holloway enables students to develop their specialisms while also learning more about cutting-edge research from out celebrated team of staff.
